Estroven Maximum Strength + Energy caplets may help reduce severe and frequent menopausal symptoms, such as hot flashes and night sweats, in a formulation with black cohosh and soy isoflaves. This formulation contains no hormones and also temporarily helps with fatigue and nervous tension.

Dosage:

• Women (menopausal/post-menopausal): Take 1 caplet daily with food 
• Take a few hours before or after taking other medications or other health care products
• Use for a minimum of 2 weeks to see beneficial effects for reduction of menopausal symptoms 

Warnings:

• Ensure you are up-to-date on mammograms and gynaecological evaluations prior to use. 
• Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
• Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking blood thinners.
• Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a history of hormonal or gynaecological disease, including ovarian cancer, endometriosis, and/or uterine fibroids
• Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a liver disorder or develop liver-related symptoms (e.g. abdominal pain, jaundice, dark urine).
• Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking hormone replacement therapy (HRT), including thyroid hormone replacement therapy.
• Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you experience breast pain, discomfort and/or tenderness, or if you experience a recurrence of menstruation and/or uterine spotting.
• Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have high blood pressure, glaucoma, and/or detrusor instability (overactive bladder syndrome).
• Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking lithium.
• Consumption with natural health products (e.g. bitter orange extract, synephrine, octopamine, ephedra) or other drugs (e.g. ephedrine) which increase blood pressure is not recommended.
• Consumption with other caffeine-containing products (e.g. medications, coffee, tea, colas, cocoa, guarana, maté) is not recommended.
• This product is not intended as a substitute for sleep.
• Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have an iron deficiency.
• Stop use if you develop symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness and/or loss of appetite and consult a health care practitioner.
• Do not use if you have or previously had breast cancer/tumours or if you are predisposed to breast cancer.
